2 days ago, Sandra started a facebook group, "Walk hand in hand for justice". The following day, the group had over 250 members and today that number has doubled to well over 500.

One of the messages that has been posted on the group is that there should be somewhere for people who are not members of facebook to participate too. This of course is a very good point, and so we welcome everyone to express their interest in "Walk hand in hand for justice" here.

The reason why you are interested in joining in is not important, simply that you recognise that there is something wrong with the justice system and that only through working together can we ever hope to see an improvement.

If you are not a member of facebook, please register your interest in this campaign here on the forum so that we can keep an active count of willing participants in any future event organised through it. We do have plans but we need several thousand people before we can proceed.

Also, please remember, you can get your "Walk Hand in Hand for Justice" T-shirts etc here in preparation for these events. Or feel free to wear any of the other wrongly accused person T-shirts if you have a personal connection with any of those causes.

Yes, it's good to see the numbers increasing and interest has also been expressed directly through the site. I will be posting an additional page shortly with a map showing places which are to be included in the walk as a result. Each town/city, case/cause highlighting just how big and widespread the problem really is.

I will post a link as soon as the page is available and update the map as soon as further cases are submitted to be included.

This is of course very much a work in progress at the moment but I have managed to get a page set up with a map where I will put markers on the locations of those who wish to participate, support or have their cases highlighted along the way. On each marker I can put case details, links to websites etc. so that it won't just be beneficial as the walk is taking place but from now until that time and long afterwards too.

Well done Billy this is a fantastic idea.  If your walk includes my neck of the woods you are more than welcome to stay over, before you continue on your journey.

Thanks HaveHope, that would indeed be very much appreciated. I have similar offers for other areas of the country too which will help tremendously.

Another couple of cases have been added to the Walk Free route, Frank Wilkinson's and Adrian Prout's with more likely to be added soon.

I'm still on the look out for a treadmill though so I can start training and keep up with site activities at the same time. If anyone knows of a spare one laying around gathering dust somewhere, please e-mail walk-free@wronglyaccusedperson.org.uk
