certain members off the Scottish executive think its OK to ignore there own constituents letters what is the best way to put a stop to this.

i have suggested an e petion but there be better ways.

I've never done it, but have you thought about open letters to the newspapers and other publications?

have to be a newspapper that we could be sure would print the letters.

That's pretty much what happened in the link I posted earlier. Along the lines of 'I wrote to X about Y and haven't had a reply.'

Doing it that way, you can be reasonable, allow a rational period of time to receive a response and if nothing is forthcoming, hit the press which would get attention for what it is you're writing about in the first place while at the same time showing them up for not replying.
