Believe it or not Gordo I have read through many things about this and like you get many answers that may or may not fit---They can be quite contradictory--I could have picked one out to suit as you have done----These do not in any way say or prove that the semen was there from that night---But hey o we will go down that road-----It was SK coz that is what you believe------JaJ lied she wasn't with him and neither were they with his dad. Jodi went to the woods with SK coz they were having an affair-----Jaj couldnt have given a s*** about her wee sister she just wanted SK to get rid of her----JuJ went along with this coz what the hell it seemed like a good thing to do. AW new how bad Jodi was so said hey o SK glad you did it and if you need any help am there for you.---AW flew to the path that night coz well she realy is a witch and got her broomstick out the cupboard. The police thought well what the hell eh---good on you SK, always wanted to fit this guy up because well he has never been on our radar---Doesny matter that it was you SK or that the great gangster Ferris is a shady guy---We just want to get Luke--no reason other than the result would be good.----Am I missing anything here

Unsubstantiated accusations.

Lets have a look at the timings again, you know the ones outsider says aren't possible??

Possible Scenario.

5.30pm ....... Luke leaves home at Newbattle Abbey Crescent, makes for Newbattle Road.
5.32pm ....... While on the way Luke phones Jodi's house but phone line is engaged.

5.38pm ....... Luke arrives at wooden gate near end of Roan's Dyke footpath.
5.40pm ....... Luke again phones Jodi's house and speaks with Alan Ovens who tells him that Jodi had already left some time ago to meet him.
5.45pm ....... Youth observed by Mrs Walsh and Mrs Fleming as they drive near the exit from Roan's d**e footpath.
5.50pm ....... Cheesed off waiting, Luke sets off for the wall at the end of Newbattle Abbey Crescent
5.55pm ....... Luke is seen by three school-boy cyclists (two of whom know him) sitting on the low wall at Newbattle Abbey Crescent.
5.55pm ....... Marion O'Sullivan and Derek Hamilton spot a youth with dark trousers and green Bomber jacket standing in a gateway at Newbattle Road. Both fail to identify Luke in court as the person they saw.
6.05pm ....... Carol Heatlie observes a youth 'similar' to Luke loitering on Newbattle Road near to Newbattle Abbey Crescent.
6.25pm ....... The same three school-boys again pass Luke still waiting at the end of Newbattle Abbey Crescent.

Remember that the ones shown in blue are definite established timings according to the defence.

Its evidence that counts, not fairy tales!

Events According to the Prosecution

4.34pm ....... Series of texts between Luke and Jodi over 4 minutes. They arrange to meet.
4.53pm ....... Luke phones the speaking clock from his mobile phone.
4.55pm ....... Luke meets Jodi at Easthouses, youth and girl seen by AB.
5.15pm ....... Luke murders Jodi and mutilates the body.
5.25pm ....... Luke makes for home and Newbattle Abbey Crescent.
5.32pm ....... While on the way Luke phones Jodi's house but phone line is engaged.
5.40pm ....... Luke again phones Jodi's house and speaks with Alan Ovens who tells him that Jodi had already left some time ago to meet him.
5.42pm ....... Luke observed by Mrs Walsh and Mrs Fleming as they drive near the exit from Roan's d**e footpath.
5.50pm ....... Luke arrives at the wall at Newbattle Abbey Crescent
5.55pm ....... Luke is seen by three boy cyclists (two of whom know him) sitting on the low wall at Newbattle Abbey Crescent.
Three boys again pass Luke still at the end of Newbattle Abbey Crescent.
6.50pm ....... Luke phones some friends to see if they will meet up as Jodi hasn't appeared.
7.00pm ....... Luke phones his mother and tells her to inform Jodi that he is at the Abbey.

Problem is folks...no time to wash, dry hair, dispose of contaminated garments and shoes, get changed and get to the wall?   Also, since Luke wasn't at home to make the tea for Corinne coming in at 5.15pm, the Alsatian must have done it!

Possible Scenario 'A'

5.30pm ....... Luke leaves home at Newbattle Abbey Crescent, makes for Newbattle Road.
5.32pm ....... While on the way Luke phones Jodi's house but phone line is engaged.
5.38pm ....... Luke arrives at wooden gate near end of Roan's d**e footpath.

6.25pm .......

Possible Scenario 'B'

5.30pm ....... Luke leaves home at Newbattle Abbey Crescent, makes for Newbattle Road.
5.32pm ....... While on the way Luke phones Jodi's house but phone line is engaged.
5.35pm ....... Luke arrives at the end of Newbattle Abbey Crescent to wait for Jodi.
5.55pm ....... Luke is seen by three boy cyclists (two of whom know him) sitting on the low wall at Newbattle Abbey Crescent.

6.50pm ....... Luke phones some friends to see if they will meet up as Jodi hasn't appeared.
7.00pm ....... Luke phones his mother and tells her to inform Jodi that he is at the Abbey.

Now which one of these series of events is the most probable?

oh but I have proved it was possible on the prosecutions contentions...that Luke could have got home and changed into a bomber jacket to be seen at 5.42pm.

Aye, with mummy doing the dirty work!   You are such a joke merchant!   fofl

Are you for real Gordon?  Luke was told by Alan that Jodi had left to meet him. Luke recalled this but could not remember what else Alan had said. Now lets get this right.

We all know what Luke said in his interviews about the conversation with Alan and we also know that Alan Ovens admitted to saying such.

Bottom line....Alan told Luke that Jodi had already left to meet him some time ago. QED
