It seems to me that the defence need to do a bit of detective work if the police can't be bothered.  The police have made their bed now they have to lie in it.

These witnesses need to be found and independently interviewed by an investigator.

Actually, according to the settings you already can, is this an option?

Hmm. I'm not seeing anything that allows me to attach an image or a file.  :-\ I can insert stuff but it has to be hosted elsewhere if I understand things correctly.

To the bottom left of the post panel, there is a "link" 'Additional Options'. You should see the option there.

Where's the thread I just started???

Think it needs to stay here as this is where the majority of traffic appears to be...??

I agree that the petition when completed should receive maximum attention as with all those seeking change in important areas of the justice system. However, it is important that threads remain within the topic subjects for many reasons.

One for example, if the petition thread were left in this thread and since as you rightly point out much of the debate is happening here, anyone entering at the forum's main page is unlikely to notice it. This is because the discussion will naturally keep the cases at the top of the topic and the main page shows only the thread which was last posted in.

As I said in Gordon Park's thread however, this petition is relevant to every case thread and as such should be referred to when and where relevant to do so.

I would therefore welcome members to participate in forming the content of the petition Stephanie is proposing.

Thank you for this Billy....

I was hoping that the wording of this petition could have been thrashed out over a matter of hours, no more than a couple of days in the hope to get it started.

I had already managed to get many other people involved and they were in the wings waiting to post.

I posted the thread over an hour ago and seem to have spent quite some time trying to find it?

You are correct to have the thread where you have moved it to but would it not have been better to get it completed first?
