Wullie Gage was in Shotts prison with Sean and I can truthfully say I am certain this is yet another tragic miscarriage of justice

Your right Carol, I haven't met a person yet that doesnt believe in Wullie Gage's innocence.  IIRC he got convicted the same year as Sean, and like Sean has been protesting his innocence since been charged.

Fingers crossed that something positive happens soon for both of them.

Most folks that come out with such and such is as guilty as sin, usually dont have a clue about the case and give a judgement on what they have read in the press.  As for cops, most of them think everyone is guilty, apart from themselves

funny thing is gage has an albi witness for the night in qustion now if his guilty then the witness must be lying but know attempt has ever been made to charge her with perjury.

This witness could give Wullie an alibi as she had make an entry in her personal diary as to what she had done the night of the murder and this included spending time with WG. This was a diary that she had made daily entries in for a couple/few years. By telling the the truth this woman had more to lose than gain but she done the right thing and told the truth and was basically called a liar in court, but your right there was no charges of perjury.  There was no link whatsoever to WG and the victim, they lived their lives in different circles.  The victim was well known to the police and drugs enforcement agencies and there was no mention or knowledge of WG being an associate.  The way I see it is that WG was no angel, he is the type you do the crime you do the time, and he had done his fair share.  Had he committed this murder in my opinion he would have got his head down and got on with his sentence.  He didnt, and he wants to prove his innocence. Why should anyone regardless of their background take the blame and serve the sentence for someone else?

well it was supposed to have been a profesnel hit but theres no record ive gage ever being paid or any lardge sums of money going in to his bank and he was never found wit any lardge sum of money as far as i know hit men dont do tick.

Wullie's appeal is being heard at the High Court in Edinburgh. It starts on Tuesday 13th December 2011 until 18th December.

I'd like to wish Wullie the very best of luck.

The appeal ended on Thursday, and now with avizandum, it will be a another waiting game for Wullie and his family.   Lets hope the correct decision is reached very soon which puts an end to this nightmare for all concerned.

I hope to see justice for William Gage too.  I read his story a couple of years ago and it beggars belief how this man was convicted of this murder on the basis of such flimsy evidence.  I hope he does not have to wait too long to find out the decision of the appeal court.
